What a Week!

Seriously – what a week!  On Wednesday I mentioned that we had an offer accepted on a house Monday, Tuesday we listed…  Since then we have had our financing approved, and last night we sold our house! We are in total shock at how quickly things have moved. Mind you we are very happy things are actually working out as planned.  So we are looking at new appliances, a vacuum (we have central vac here), pricing of a fence, and so much more.  So we should be fully moved in by March 19.  We are really going to miss this place – it is an awesome home, with great neighbours, but it is time to move on to a new project.

On the home study front, we have decided to delay meeting with our AP until mid March.  Our AP is so sweet – she sent us all the paperwork so we can get it all ready to go, then when we finally meet, it won’t take as long to process.  She most likely will have paperwork done by mid April – amazing woman!  This way we can focus on the home study – and not get too over whelmed with moving and  home study paperwork at the same time.

  1. Congratulations on everything! Alot of big decisions and big changes, all of them great! Love looking at pics of your little guy, he’s such a little sweetie and seems to be quite a little character!
hoping that the move and homestudy all run as smooth as they possibly can.

  2. Wow, that was quick! Congratulations!! That’s awesome that your AP is giving you all the paperwork in advance. Hopefully everything with the move and child #2 will go as smoothly and quickly as this week.

  3. Wow, I’m seriously impressed with your speediness, I love that! Congrats on selling your house. I’m sure it’s bittersweet to leave a house and neighborhood you loved, but new beginnings are so exciting! And speaking of new beginnings… I am so excited that you are also starting on baby #2 very soon. 2010 will be a wonderful year for your family!!!

  4. Big, big congrats on all the good things happening this week! Whew! You must be exhausted.
Smart move to wait on the homestudy. It’s pretty much guaranteed that paperwork would get misplaced in the move. And wouldn’t it be a big headache to redo everything with a new address?!

  5. I am amazed at how quickly your house sold!!! Congratulations! It sounds like a good idea to delay the meeting for a bit. Everything seems to be falling into place nicely!
